What is Alpha Nation?

Alpha Nation is a free-to-play, browser-based real-time strategy game where you build and command a nation competing against hundreds of players worldwide. You start with a small country and a handful of turns, and from there everything is your decision: develop your land, grow your population, train your military, research new technologies, and trade on a player-driven market to fund it all. It is free to play in any browser, or you can install the iOS and Android apps — it is the same account and the same nation across all three, and there is nothing to buy.

Each game is played out over a round lasting roughly 10 to 60 days. When a round ends the world resets, final standings are archived, and everyone begins again from zero — so a new player joining today is never permanently behind the veterans. That fresh-start design is what keeps the competition open: your placement on the leaderboard is earned within the round, not bought or inherited from seasons past.

What makes Alpha Nation different is that it is genuinely a game of people, not just numbers. The strongest nations rarely act alone — they coordinate inside clans, send each other foreign aid, broker alliances, and gang up on whoever is pulling ahead. Whether you prefer to win through economic dominance, military conquest, or patient diplomacy, there is a viable path to the top for your playstyle, and a community ready to help you find it.
